Southwest
monsoon was vigorous over East Uttar Pradesh for a few days and
over Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Coastal & South Interior
Karnataka and Marathawada for one or two days of the week.
Southwest
monsoon was active over East Uttar Pradesh for many days; over
Arunachal Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh for a
few days and over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, West Bengal &
Sikkim, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh,
Konkan & Goa, Vidarbha, Telangana, Coastal & South
Interior Karnataka and Kerala for one or two days of the week.

Widespread
rainfall occurred over
Konkan & Goa and Coastal
Karnataka for most days; over Arunachal Pradesh,
Sub-Himalayan West
Bengal & Sikkim, East Madhya Pradesh and Kerala
for many days and over
Assam & Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand,
Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand,
Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Madhya Pradesh,
Marathawada, Vidarbha and Lakshadweep for one or two days of the
week.
Fairly
widespread rainfall occurred over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram &
Tripura for most days; over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and
East Madhya Pradesh
for
many days;
over
Assam & Meghalaya, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Lakshadweep
for
a few days and over Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim,
Jharkhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, East
Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha,
Telangana, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka for

Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand and south Interior Karnataka for
many days; over Assam & Meghalaya, West Uttar Pradesh and
North Interior Karnataka for a few days and over Andaman
& Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura,
West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Haryana, Chandigarh &
Delhi, Himachal
Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh,
Gujarat State, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana,
Kerala and Lakshadweep for one or two days of the week.
Isolated
rainfall occurred over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and
Tamil Nadu & Puducherry for
most days; over Gangetic West Bengal, Haryana, Chandigarh &
Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat State, Vidarbha, Telangana and
North Interior Karnataka for many days; over Marathawada for a
few days and over Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Uttar Pradesh,
Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Madhya
Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and South Interior Karnataka for
one or two days of the week.

Outlook For The Week
Ending on 10th July, 2013
Rain/thundershowers
would occur at most places over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh,
West Uttar Pradesh,
Sub-Himalayan
West Bengal &
Sikkim,
northeastern states and along west coast during many days of the
week with heavy to very heavy falls.
Rain/thundershowers
would occur at many places over Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, East
Rajasthan
during 1st
half of the week and decrease thereafter and over Punjab,
Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi during 2nd
half of the week.
Rain/thundershowers
would occur at a few places over remaining parts of the country
except south peninsular India and West Rajasthan where rainfall
would be subdued.
