Monsoon was vigorous over Saurashtra Kutch and active over Gujarat region.

Chief amounts of Rainfall recorded in cms.are:

(I)Gujarat region:- Wav-11, Deodar-10, Halol-9, Ghoghamba, Radhanpur-8 each, Tharad,

Gandhinagar-7 each, Jetpurpavi, Harij, Patan, detroj, Kalol-6 each, 5 cm and less amounts of

rainfall recorded at a number of places.

(II)Saurashtra and Kutch:- Bhuj-15, Mandvi, Gandhidham-12 each, Nakhatrana-11, Anjar, Malia

Miyana, Bachau, Naliya-9 each, Kandla, Lakhpat, Rahapur, Abdassa-8 each, Dhrangadhra,

Kalyanpur, Halwad-7 each, 6 cm and less amounts of rainfall recorded at a number of places.

FORECAST AND FARMERS’ WEATHER BULLETIN VALID TILL THE MORNING OF 13.08.2011.

Moderate to rather heavy rain/thundershowers would occur at many places in all districts of Gujarat

region, Saurashtra, Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli and at most places in Kutch district.

OUT LOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: - Decrease in rainfall activity.

WARNING: - Heavy to very heavy rains would occur at a few places over Kutch during next 48 hours.

FORECAST FOR AHMEDABAD AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTILL MORNING OF 12.08.11:

Intermittent moderate rains would occur.
